As of April 1st, Martin Boit (47) takes over the position of President and CEO at Wacom Europe GmbH from Han Stoffels. “I am excited to continue Wacom’s success in Europe on the foundation built to date. My key ambitions for Wacom Europe are to expand the existing business and to create a new user base and market segments by leveraging Wacom’s unique global capability”, says Martin Boit. “I also look forward to contributing to Wacom global success in the future.”
Prior to joining Wacom, Martin Boit has worked in several international management positions within telecommunication, IT and services companies that include T-Mobile International, T-Systems and Ocè.

After being with Wacom Europe for almost 11 years, the former President and CEO, Han Stoffels, has decided to renew his personal and professional career and focus on his entrepreneurial ambitions. “Under Han’s leadership Wacom Europe has enjoyed a stable growth of more than 20 per-cent year on year in the last ten years, and he has greatly contributed to the development of new businesses and markets”, says Masahiko Yamada, Wacom Group CEO. He continues: “Under his leadership, Wacom has grown from a professional graphics product company to a company with a wide variety of product offerings and a strong brand presence in the consumer market.
